Ingredient List of the Master Cleanse Diet

By Linda Riley

If you are worry that the ingredients in master cleanse would cost you a bomb, do not fret. This is because most of the ingredients used are cheap and easy to use. Some of the must have ingredients include pure water, grade B Organic maple syrup, organic Cayenne pepper, organic lemons and sea salts. To further increase the effectiveness of the master cleanse you can use herbal laxative tea, psyllium husk, wheat grass, natural decaffeinated herbal tea and hoodia extract.

In the ingredient list for master cleanse diet, the most important one is actually the pure filtered water. Most people neglected the pure filtered water and use instead normal water. You must not use any other water. Reason being other water contains chlorine and bacteria. And chlorine itself is a poison and consuming chlorine water is defeating the purpose of the master cleanse diet.

The other ingredients like lemon juice must also be from organic and natural lemon juice and not processed lemon juice which is filled with sugar. The same goes for the maple syrup used in the master cleanse. The syrup must also be natural organic grade B maple syrup. Anything else is unsuitable as it is filled with added sugar. The cayenne pepper is usually in powdered form but you can also use the liquid type. Lastly as for the salt used, it must be sea salt and again must not be iodized type. The purpose of the salt is to be used as a laxative.

As mentioned earlier, you can use secondary ingredients to make your master cleanse more effective. You can use laxative tea as a substitute to replace sea salt if you are not partial to taking sea salts. Even though sea salts is actually more effective as a laxative, the laxative tea will do equally well the job. The two recommended brand of tea to use in the master cleanse diet are "Laxative Tea" and "Smooth Move tea". The function of the psyllium husk is also a laxative. It is also fiber rich and will help you curb your hunger pangs. The wheat grass used as a secondary ingredient in the master cleanse diet is a strong antioxidant as it is filled with nutrients and vitamins. It is nicknamed super food because it provides more nutrients per weight ratio as compared to other forms of food. However the main reason for the wheat grass, in the master cleanse diet , is because it contain protein.

As for the herbal tea, its usage in the master cleanse is to break the boredom of drinking lemonade all the time. As the master cleanse is to help you reduce weight and remove toxins, there is nothing much which you can add into the master cleanse. As for the hoodia, its main function is to help you curb your hunger pangs. By taking hoodia, you help to avoid the distractions of feeling hungry and may cause you to abandon the master cleanse regime. Therefore it is good to take the hoodia together with the master cleanse for the successful completion of the cleansing program. - 15252
