Finding Makeup Samples

By MakeupGirl

When I see some kind of makeup or skin care product that I want to try, I always worry that I might be wasting my money. Lets face it, even good makeup products don't work for everyone. Just because I like the color of lipstick, doesn't mean its going to look good on me. I think the best thing to do to avoid this situation is to get samples of makeup to decide what you think of it before you spend your money on it.

Free makeup samples are often available; you just have to know how to find them. Makeup samples are readily available and most of them are free of charge. The number thing you can do to find yourself samples is to ask. When you are at cosmetic counters and you see something that you think you might like, ask if they have any samples of the product.

A lot of makeup companies offer sample giveaways when you make a purchase of something else from them. If you make a purchase exceeding a certain dollar amount, then they will throw in freebies. This means they have the freebies to give away. Even though the gifts might technically be attached to a purchase, it doesn't hurt to ask for them without the purchase. Its to the advantage of cosmetic companies to offer samples since it will help them get a new customer if you like the product.

If you don't have a nearby department store that has makeup counters to go to, you can still get your hands on makeup samples. The World Wide Web is going to be your best source of information. All you have to do is go to a search engine like Google and enter makeup samples. You might be surprised at how many websites pop up that are willing to offer samples of all kinds of makeup and hygiene products.

Since you wont be able to pick up the makeup samples that you get online, the companies will mail them to you. This does require you to enter your name and address on their website which means they might start sending you their advertisements by email. They also might ask you to answer a survey before they'll send you the sample. This is how a lot of companies are gathering information about the people interested in their products.

Sometimes, the surveys can be long. My advice to you is unless you are really excited about trying out the product, stick with the freebies that have the short surveys. Two minutes filling out a questionnaire is not too high of a price for a free sample, but ten minutes might be. After all, your time is valuable.

Free makeup samples are a safe way to try out a product to decide if you really are a fan. Then, if you like it, you can spend your money certain you aren't wasting it. Samples are the perfect way to get what you want without wasting your money. - 15252
