Different options for your bathroom vanity

By Alex Zidan

When you head out looking for pointers and design ideas for a bathroom it is amazing how much information there is directed straight at the bathroom vanity. The toilet is definitely used but the mirror is used even more. It is nearly impossible for someone to miss a mirror when they head into your bathroom.

Because the permanent fixtures not be moved easily, it is impossible to rearrange them. The most precious piece that we can control is the bathroom vanity. This element needs to be personally chosen by you, you also need to choose a mirror that represents your home and the warmth you want your guests to feel when they enter your newly remodeled bathroom.

All the rooms in the entire house may be decorated to the maximum the restroom is a stop that is made by most guests that enter your home. There is a good chance that your dining room or your den are seen but not looked at like your bathroom. With the smaller space they are going to notice the details on your bathroom vanity and what colors you accented the whole room with. Guests' notice even more when they enter a room without any distraction of the host being present so make sure it is the impression you want. So make sure that you pick one of the higher quality vanities because this what gives off the image of you as a person.

You need to remember that most people check the way they look before exiting the bathroom. This is the reason why public bathrooms have standard mirrors available. It is a guarantee that your guests are going to examine the bathroom vanity closely when they are peering at their image in the mirror. The main details that are going to study are the type of trim that is keeping the unit in it's place and if the proportion of the vanity is right for your bathroom.

You also have many different styles to choose from as well between antique, classic, traditional, and even gothic. Whichever design you choose, you will have to make sure you can complete the look throughout the rest of your restroom. Although the bathroom vanity may be the centerpiece of the room, it is not enough to hold the entire theme of the room with one simple placement. You will have to add some more detail along with it to complete the look.

One very high class bathroom vanity is the antique style with black iron cast settings to hold the mirror in. If you have iron fixtures in your home this is a very classy way to tie the whole room setting in together and make the room look classy and sharp all at the same time.

If your style is more towards the underwater theme with blue hues with wall decorations, it would be in your interest to look for a bathroom vanity that has some gold or silver trim to help transform it perfectly. Depending on what other colors you are working with in your scheme will decide on which metallic tone you are going to lean towards. Make sure that you have the opportunity to present your bathroom with the perfect bathroom vanity which will bring the theme to life in front of your guests' eyes. - 15252
