With people suffering from allergies all over, sometimes its tough to get was to have your home allergy free. However there are some ways that you can cut down on those allergens now. 1. Get rid of wall to wall carpet because this will hold the dust and dander inside the fibers and make it difficult to vacuum up. If someone is suffering from allergies in your home you may want to consider replacing your carpet for hard wood floor. This allows you to sweep or dust with a damp mop to rid the dirt that you can see.

2. Another thing to try is a ceiling fan. Get one for each room of your house. Plus ceiling fans also come with lights so it will add some more light to a room. With the ceiling fan circulating air it will help out the person who suffers from those allergies. It's a very easy process to install and should not take you long at all. Also with this addition you will notice a savings in not only the heating bills, but also cooling bills.

3. Use a Decorative Humidifier and Air Purifier- There are some decorative air humidifiers and purifiers on the market. These can do wonders when it comes to helping someone with allergies breathe easier. While you will not want these products to be the centerpiece of your home, you can put them in an area where they are inconspicuous. By getting one of the modern, attractive air purifiers, you can make them fit into a contemporary home. If you do not have contemporary dcor, you can hide these products with a screen.

4. If you want you should add an area rug it will provide a warm atmosphere to your dcor. These area rugs are even made from natural products now that will even be better in your home and helping the person with an allergy. Go online and you should be able to find an area rug that is sharp looking and will fit in with any kind of dcor you may have.

5. Take down those curtains and replace them with blinds. Blinds will help to cut down on the dust collection that drapes usually are full of. Blinds are much easier to clean too, all you need is a rag and you can wipe them off. You will be able to find blinds in any color that can go with your dcor too. If someone in your family has allergies you don't have to clear out the house of everything. Make the changes above and get your home to be allergen free.
