What You Should Know About Hot Wax Hair Removal

By Lindelwa Laz

For us women, there seems to be more pressure about removing body hair than their used to be. The traditional method of shaving just isn't good enough for us anymore. However, hot wax hair removal can give professional grade results that we crave. It is because of this finish that it is becoming more and more popular.

The hot wax hair removal system is an old one but has lasted well against the newer methods. It is not a perfect system to remove unwanted hair but there are some great benefits. It's not just the finish it gives but wax removal is also less expensive than many of the more modern approaches. All of us have used a razor to shave ourselves at some point because it's convenient, but it's not very pleasant when you nick yourself with the razor.

More often than not it happens right when you can least afford the time for it to dry because you are going out. At least with wax removal you don't have to worry about the 5pm shadow like a guy does or about little cuts. I think the biggest plus point to the hot wax hair removal process is that your hair returns thinner each time you use it. So the more often I wax, the less hair returns which is fine by me; something a shaver cannot promise!

Of course once you start shaving, the hair just seems to grow back thicker, quite the opposite of the wax system. There is a little pain with the hot wax hair removal system but nowhere near as much as many people would have you believe.

Unless you are a devout masochist, I would suggest you stay clear of this tiny but painful instrument. A long time ago when they first came out I was foolish enough to try one but I threw it away within a few seconds of using it, it just wasn't worth the pain.

I am giving you the same advice as I was given by a friend of mine from college who suggested I go along and try the hot wax hair removal system for myself. I'm glad I did try because I wouldn't go back to the other painful alternatives. I think it's unfair when you consider the bad name wax removal has when it comes to causing the briefest of discomfort. When you think about the alternatives, to my mind there is no comparison, it beats them hands down. - 15252
